Yeah, I hear you. See, I quit working 13 years ago when my oldest was born...and while it's wonderful to have be able to stay home with my kids and all, the financial sacrifices have been horrid. I still wouldn't do it any other way, it's been amazing, but it is a hard job, too. But also, now that they are both in school and I'm needing to get a job, well, I have not worked in 13 years and no one will even look at my resume further than to see that my last job was in 1995. I think we women can't win no matter what we do. Hey Lou. Yeah, I hear you. There is still that expectation that women can "have it all", don't you think? Or at least, an expectation within ourselves. I am praying, Lou, that you see a new way through somehow, see what Papa wants you to do. It's not fair that you are working such crazy cwazy hours. Do let me know if I can help you out in any way, even if it's driving you somewhere or whatever. I mean, I hesitate to offer because if the positions were reversed, I would knock you back :) But if you happen to have less pride than me, then please ask if ever I can help you out or whatever :) I don’t think you’re whingeing at all, Lou.
